Website Care

Keep your website supported and moving forward.

Give your team a clear point of contact for maintenance, issues and planned improvements. Website Care starts with an understanding of your website and an agreement about what needs looking after.

For websites that need an ongoing owner

Your site is live, but updates, small problems and development requests keep landing on different desks. You need to know who is responsible, how to ask for help and how future work will be prioritised.

This offer is useful for organisations seeking a continuing technical partner, including teams considering a handover from another agency. We assess the website before agreeing support.

What we put in place

  • A support route: an agreed way to report problems and request changes.
  • A maintenance plan: responsibilities for the software and services covered by the agreement.
  • A shared improvement list: a place to prioritise changes beyond routine maintenance.
  • Visibility: agreed reporting on work completed, open issues and decisions needed.
  • Clear ownership: who looks after hosting, backups, monitoring and third-party services.

Start with the website you have

Review and handover. We establish the software, hosting, integrations, access and known issues. Missing documentation or unsupported components may need work before regular care can begin.

Agree the arrangement. We define coverage, responsibilities, support hours, response expectations and the way extra work is approved.

Maintain and improve. We carry out the agreed work and review the priorities with you. A planned improvement can be scoped separately when it goes beyond maintenance.

Know what your agreement covers

Software updates, backup arrangements, recovery checks, monitoring and hosting are specified in your proposal. Their inclusion and frequency depend on the website and the services involved.

A response time describes when an issue is acknowledged or investigated; it is not a promise that every issue will be resolved within that time. We agree escalation and coverage explicitly. New features, major version upgrades, content work and external licences are identified separately where applicable.

The monthly fee and any initial onboarding work are agreed after reviewing your site. There is no assumption of unlimited development or around-the-clock support.

Relevant experience

Our work with Studio Zelden and Yuan’s Hot Pot includes hosting and maintenance alongside website development. The right care arrangement reflects the needs of each website.

Before we start

Can you take over an existing site?
We can assess it first. Suitability depends on the technology, access, documentation and condition of the site.

Does care include a redesign?
A redesign or substantial new feature is a separate scope of work. We can help prioritise it alongside maintenance.

What should we bring?
Your website URL, technology and hosting details, current arrangements and the issues you need help with. Access can be arranged securely when needed.

Know what to ask
